Random/Testimony: I panicked and He provides

Happy Malaysia Day!!

Today has been an incredible journey. It doesn't seem like a big deal but it is to me.

I had a jamming session with my friends from Kuching. Lovely twin sisters from Acts Church. They were staying at USJ 10, Taipan and I got there by taxi.
So after jamming and stuff I decided to head back, because I wanted to have dinner near my area(I had the craving for a certain food). Anyways, I couldn't get a taxi. I walked almost one round around their area and still couldn't get a taxi. It was stupid of me to go back at that time seeing it was the time where it would be traffic jams, plus, it was raining. I told my friends that I would call them to call for a taxi if I couldn't get one. So after like 10 minutes of not seeing a single taxi, I called my friend to help me get a taxi. You may think that I've given up looking for a taxi that easily, but that place it's like empty and there are only a few cars driving by. So my friend called back and they said not a single taxi will come at this hour due to traffic jam and I would have to wait longer. They suggested taking the bus but I wasn't sure of the area. Then I asked if they could send me to the nearest mall or something but they couldn't at the moment because they were having dinner with relatives from back home. While, I was on the phone with my friend, and while she was thinking of ways to get me home, I saw a taxi passed by. I was like Thank God there is a taxi!

However, I couldn't get hold of the taxi seeing how I was inside and the taxi was on the main road. Even if I ran, I couldn't get hold of the taxi. So, I decided to walk to the main street but I ended up walking to the pathway near the shops. About four taxis passed by the main road and I was waving at them but they don't seem to see me. So feeling frustrated, I decided to walk out to the main street and one taxi passed by again. I was like panicking already. I nearly tried to call some of my friends from CF but then I started praying.

I asked God to send me someone nice enough to help me or a taxi driver who drive by this path. I was really really panicking already. So I stood there, at a T-Junction out on the main road. Just when I decide to stand there, no freaking taxi would passed by. I was like surrendering to God and trusting that He will send someone. Then I got this voice in my head saying "Walk further up front...". I was like NO! I have to stay here and try catch a cab. After seeing a few taxis passed by at the far end of the road, I gave in to the voice inside my head and walked.

A couple of minutes later I reached the nearest traffic light and there it was, A TAXI!!! He was about to turn the other way but I caught his eye. He wasn't willing to take me due to the traffic jam but end up he did. So I reached home safe and sound and I was able to eat what I was craving for. XD Plus, the taxi driver was a friendly driver and he doesn't drive the way most taxi drivers do. So, Praise the Lord for a good driver!

So I guess what I'm trying to say is, When facing difficulties, seek God. Ask and you shall be given. Trust in the Lord. He will provide.
God is good!!
So yeah, this is my testimony.

Have a nice day!

Random: How do I do my designs?

People keep on asking me how to do it.
If I post this someone would probably give me a scolding but I don't care, I want to be able to teach people or share my experiences with people in the future. We shall learn things together ya?
I have a motto when I do my design and that is Do Not Be Afraid To Try.
Lots of my designs I just go along with it and if there are some that I like, I will use the method in my other future designs. Sometimes I have this certain design on my head and not sure if it would come out nice or whether it works well or not. I just do it. If you don't do it, you will never know whether it suits the thing you are doing. You just never know until you try.
If there are mistakes, Just cover it up.
I make lots of mistakes before. Like when I do a curve and it looks weird, I will keep on making extra layers until I'm satisfied or when I draw things overboard and I don't like it. I'll put another design to cover it or just make up another design(I tent to draw things so close to each other until the ink spreads to the other design, so yeah).
Look around.
Get inspired by other design or an object. I went to a boot camp for interior designers and one of the speaker has his own company and he said if you get stuck and couldn't get an idea, just go out(or just take a break), look around, be inspired, then come back and do your work. He say his best ideas come from when he go to the toilet. XD
Sometimes I look around and thought hey, that looks nice, I could try that and apply in my designs.

So yeah, I hope this helps-ish. All the best! Thanks for reading!

Have a nice day!

Random: Things are not going to be the same

Things are not going to be the same
It may appear that the two things you compare are the same but they aren't.
Even twins or triplets or quadruplets or whatever else there is, aren't the same.
If you look carefully, they aren't the same. Yes, they may have the same look, the same parents and blah blah blah, but the first will always be the first, the second is the second, and so forth.
Just like my designs, they are never the same and can never be the same. Even it's suppose to look the same or symmetrical, it will still be different. The designs and methods might be the same but if you look closer, it's not the same. I tried to copy one of my old designs for a college assignment, but it came out different. I just can't seem to make it the same. The concept is the same but the designs are slightly different.

*I know this post seem pointless but yeah, I just want to point out that my designs are originals and each one of them are one in a million. They may have the same look or method but it's different.
*I do have other points on this topic but this is mainly about my designs so I might write another post about the same topic with different ideas.

So if you want to hire me to design something for you, go ahead. I do charge yeah, whether you are my close friend or family, I will still charge you.

Have a nice day!

Random: Opportunities

Opportunities...
They are everywhere. You just got to look for it or just be at the right place at the right moment.
I am an interior design student who does graphic designs. I mostly do tribal designs. It isn't tribal design to me but it is to other people. It's just black ink design on paper.
Anyways, I tent to do those designs everywhere and anywhere I get the chance to or when I have my black pen and a piece of paper(or sketch book) with me or when there is a nice place for me to relax and draw.
When people walk by, they see it. Hopefully one day, it will catch the eye of the person who may change my life forever and give me a job or something. They could just hire me. I do design for people and they pay me(have been since high school).
Sometimes I purposely(sometimes only), do my designs in front of people, so they could see what I do(even though I don't like people seeing unfinished work), and then they would ask me to do it for them.
My point is that don't give up on your dreams or don't lose hope as opportunities are everywhere. Just have faith.
Take the opportunity to show your talents to the world.
You want to be a singer, then go sing out on the streets, join singing competitions, sing at a restaurant or something.
You want to be a painter, paint something and go to the galleries, ask if they could display your works, join art competitions.
All you have to do is go forth and try. Show them what you're made of.

Sorry if you think my advice are mainly for artistic people...

So, GO OUT! Show them what you can do! Show them your talents. Small steps at a time.
I hope this helps you(in a way) to have more faith and don't give up.

Have a nice day!

MLM/Random: Semester 1 is over!!!

At least I think it is.. Haha.. Just hope that my grades are enough for me to pass Semester 1 and go on to Semester 2.

My crazy classmates! Thanks for an incredible journey! Thanks for baring with me throughout Semester 1.. Sorry if I offended or make you angry... Hope that things would be better in Semester 2... Jia you! Gambateh!

I can't wait to go Semester 2 as there is a class that I can't wait to start...
It's photography baby!! Yes, I love photography. I was suppose to havea post about my passion for photography but I deleted it. I love photography for a long time now but it's only recently(actually since I moved to KL) that I really really love it. Maybe because they are people who like the pictures I took. I can't wait to get my hands on aDSLR and start learning. If you want to hire me to take pictures for you, I'll be happy to... :DDD
Anyways, finally I have time to go back to my hometown. I don't mind just coming back for a week but I mind if my holiday is only a week. I need to catch up on my sleep which I haven't seeing I got on the plane the day after my final presentation(I stayed up for almost 48 hours) and since then I have been waking up early everyday because of my mother. I need sleep!!! I've been falling asleep every chance I get. In the bus, sleep, in the plane, sleep, in the car, sleep, at the restaurant, sleep, visiting my grandmother, sleep, in church, almost sleep XD....
So I've been back for like 3 days already and have been eating quite a lot. I hope I didn't gain weight seeing how it is hard for me to lose weight. Speaking of weights, I lost 10 freaking KG!!! I don't feel it though... but people keep telling me they see me slimmer than the first time they saw me. I've been having lots of stress, walking up and down the stairs, and skipping meals especially breakfast. Yes, I'm living an unhealthy life, stop nagging me, I have enough from my mother, aunties and a friend from church(you know who you are)...XD
Me on the plane XD
Finally get the chance to eat Foochow noodles!!! Yumm!!
I'm meeting up with my friends later and will blog about it later maybe soon hopefully... XD

Have a nice day!

Random: Love at First Sight

I first saw him the moment I entered the shop. I didn't pick the others even though they look soooo nice... I got the spark in my eyes the moment I saw him... Everyone around me became a blur. All I could see is him... Oh, it really truly was love a first sight... Now he belongs to me. I love him so much... I'm so in love with him and he loves me too... He gives me comfort every time. He's there whenever I need him... I dumped my current one for him, I feel bad but the other one getting worse n worse soI can't be with the other one...

Ok stop... at this point you think that I'm talking about a guy right? WRONG!!! I'm talking about a pair of shoes... If you really know me, you would know that I mostly wear shoes instead of slippers or high heels and such.. So, last last last last, actually I can't quite remember when I bought it, I think it's last month, I bought a pair of shoes. I went to many shops and finally gave in to go Sketchers(I don't like Sketchers' shoes because it's normally very expensive one). Feeling lost and thinking I couldn't find the right shoe(cause I'm so picky XD), the moment I enter the shop, I saw that shoe and I'm like WAAA!! Fell in love on the spot... haha
I got this new shoe because my other shoe spoil... Seriously spoil. Like cannot fix already... The whole thing come off already..

Even thought I have a new shoe, I still love my old one... I haven't throw it away le.. Still in the plastic...

The story of my old shoe...
I have this shoes that I have wore for 4 years... Yes, 4 years.. I'm amazed myself.. It's like a RM 50 shoe and I'm amazed that it lasted that long.. my other shoe that cost more spoil faster. This shoe really good one lo..
I wear it all the time. I wear this one that is cheap and wear it all the time and it last that long. If I buy expensive one, last for a while only even if I wear once awhile only. There's a mall in my hometown in Kuching called The Spring. It's the first thing I bought from that mall, so I guess it's as old as the mall. The thing is that, that's the only time I saw that shoe, any other time I don't see it anymore. It's one of the things I never regretted buying, which is a very rare feeling for me..

*sigh* R.I.P my old shoe, I will miss u dearly...
My new shoe XD

Anyways, do you have any story about the things you love? Tell me, I love stories :D

Have a nice day!!

Random: What If- Moving

"what if.." has always been on my head.. like today, I've been thinking about my room. Seeing how noel(one of the fashion design lecturers) is gonna start work near where I stay, I was like "Oh, got company", n my place is very convenient to certain things(etc, wifi XD) but then, I got to think about how my room is so small now, where my school is going to be located next year... moving to subang is like awesome seeing how my activities are mostly in that area... but then there ares still some other things that hold me back.. mainly the church im going to right now, n if i move I can't be close to my aunty. There's a lot in my mind. Hopefully I will be 90% sure about moving when I see the place on Saturday. Pray for me ya?

*sigh* I'm so tired, have been sleeping super late these few days... for a person who tends to sleep at 10pm, the latest at 11:59pm, sleeping at 2am is not good.. my eyes keep twitching and hurting, it's gonna turn red which cause me to not able to see things clearly or pay attention in class... Ahh!! *sigh* college life...
Pray for me!!! (song-leading next week, I'm worried, I'm a nervous wreck, pray that I have peace in me)

Have a nice day!! and don't forget, to pray for me!!

Random: I'm super positive

About doing interior designer... I wasn't quite sure about it last week, but something happen this week where I just had that confirmation that I was meant to do interior design. I just had that spark in me that says that it is what I should be focusing more. I was at the basement of my school where there was two senior interior designers doing their project, I was like, THAT'S THE THING I WANNA DO!!! I have been doing stuff like that since like FOREVER..
*BTW, I have two email addresses that have the words graphic design.. haha..
I'm into graphic design. How those amazing animations are and how I can do that stuff too but my aim is interior design and I'm positive about it. So, Abigail, stop asking me. I can do free-lance instead.. Just because I'm good at something or tend to do something doesn't mean I'm gonna pursue it further. It's not something I want to study(officially). I wanna learn but not as to get a diploma or degree(maybe in the future after I have more money, MAYBE).

So yeah I'm sure about it...

Have a nice day!

Random: Is it the right path?

This week I've been thinking, have I taken the right path to learn interior design instead of graphic design or multimedia?
I know I always say that I will never change my course but Abigail (You remember Abi? You know Abi, my friend I mentioned from my pass few post) have been really persistent on me taking other course. Ok she didn't ask me to really change it, just ask me to think about it. I still have 2 months to think about it.
I love graphic and multimedia and all but I feel that I should learn interior design. For me it's like if I want to do graphic design or multimedia I can do it as a freelance thing. I can't do freelance work for interior design if I take the graphic course because I don't have the knowledge of interior and how it works. Do you understand what I'm trying to say?
If only there was a course where I can take it all. *sigh* You can't have it all.
My designs are more towards graphic and multimedia and stuff but I love interior.

*sigh* What to do?!!! Comment please, give me some "Words Of Wisdom"...

*sigh* anyways,

Have a nice day!

Random: I guess it was for me XD

So the other day in CF meeting we were having prayer request and Kaitlyn say "Can pray for my future husband? I want British man." Ok, that weren't her exact words but yeah she did say that. We didn't pray for that.
However..
So Abigail took me to the train station after the meeting and Kaitlyn was in the car. I was walking towards the escalator when a dude "overtake" me. He was tall, "pretty", handsome, young and British. We took the same train. I texted Abigail to tell Kaitlyn about it. Then two stops later, I turn around and there it was, another white man(sorry if you think this is racist, but it's not). He's handsome but a little older than the first one. I only told Kaitlyn about the first guy. Kaitlyn, if you are reading this, I just wanna say, like I said before, You should have take the train with me. XD So she texted me back asking me to take a picture of the first guy but by the time I received the text, I just step off the train. Literally JUST STEP OFF THE TRAIN. So I was walking back home and another white guy, even better looking one cycled by me.
My point is, it is my destiny to meet ang-mo guys not Kaitlyn... haha..I'm joking k?. Don't be mad ok Kaitlyn, we share k?
Anyways, it's been a childhood dream of mine to marry a white man for a long time. Don't believe? Ask my those relatives close to me. I told them long time ago I wanted to be married to an ang-mo. There was another time when I was like, "I'm marring an ang-mo, mummy shall marry a Japanese and my sister shall marry an Indian(that time she say she wanna go India ma). Sorry a, ah Shell(my sister)! hehe... My cousins would tease me about marrying an white man.
That was a childhood dream of mine but now I'm more eh, I don't mind Chinese man nowadays.. Anyways, whoever I'm might marry has already been planned by God. If I can get an ang-mo man than good la but now I'm more towards Chinese man. haha

Have a nice day

Random/MLM: Such a small world

It has been like what? four weeks since school started. School's great. I just dislike where I stay.
So, I've been going to Christian Fellowship since then.
Hold up, I'm here to talk about a person, not what I did. I'll tell you what I did in my next post...
Ok, so there is a girl named Abigail. I first talked to her when I want to find out whether I can get a transport back after the first CF meeting. It was my first time talking to her but it's not my first time seeing her. Shall I explain? Abigail is from KL. She went to National Service last year in Sarawak(I'm from there if you don't know that)and went to my church during her service. That's when I first saw her. SAW, not meet. Fast forward to four weeks ago, it was the day of the meeting and I was suppose to meet up with her before going to the meeting and we were talking and my friend came to the topic. My friend was in the same camp with her during NS and that when I was like "no wander you look SOOO familiar". Oh ya, forgot to add, I went to look for her in Facebook because she was the president and I want to see who she was and thought she look familiar from the picture.
So now I'm friends with her. Small world isn't it. She went to my church last time and now I'm going to her church. I was worried which church to go and she's my answer. I'm grateful to meet her. She's a good friend.
This post is dedicated to you, Abigail. You are like my sister. I'm grateful to have you in my life.

So, you, the readers, know about Abigail, now. Makes it easier to say it in my post instead of me keep saying my friend my friend my friend until you are not sure which is which anymore. I know I don't have much readers nor followers but if you are reading this and you did view my blog, I thank you for doing so and for that,

Have a nice day!!

Random: It comes in three

NO, I'm not talking about bad lucks.
I'm talking about my sleep habits.
My sleep habits wasn't as complicated last time, but recently, everyday got more complicated.
When I mean sleep as in night time sleep, not afternoon sleep, not short nap, not sleep in the car etc. I can't sleep if I don't do it.
My (current) sleep habits come in three.
First off, THE PILLOWS. I must have, at all times, have it with me. I cuddle them.
  1. MY PILLOW. I had it since I was a baby, and apparently it was originally my mum's. Originally I had three pillow since baby but I had to get rid of it since it became so thin. Somehow certain cotton grow thin. Mine wasn't as thin as my sisters. Hers was so thin that it felt like a piece of cloth and it stinks. She says she wash it but it stinks Terribly!!! Mine smells wayyyyy better since I always change the cover.
  2. THE LONG PILLOW. I don't care what kinda long pillow, as long it is LONG so I can put my legs in between something. My bone doctor guy say it's good for your backbone to put pillows in between your legs when you sleep. It doesn't really work(on me I guess) but it's comfortable.
  3. THE EXTRA HEAD PILLOW. I have a lot of extra pillow(normally you use it for your head). This pillow is for holding, not for my head. I like to put my arms over something high when I sleep. Since I have a $700 pillow for my head(it's suppose to be for my crooked bone but it doesn't work) that my mum bought(I asked for a shoe that is good for my bone and she go and buy a pillow), I used this pillow(originally for my head) to put around my arms. It's very soft and cool. Best to cuddle when you're hot.
Second, THE PREPARATION. If I don't do it, I won't sleep well.
  1. THE HAIR. The hair always have to be behind the ear.
  2. THE SLEEVE. The sleeve must always be rolled up.
  3. THE PEEK-A-BOO LEG. I use blankets at night. Usually, it doesn't feel that cold when I sleep and it will in the middle of the night. So, to prevent me from shivering in the middle of the night(even I myself don't realize it), I put my blanket on me first. When you put the blanket on, it's really hot so I stick my legs out to feel a little cool air.
Next, every time before I actually fall asleep, I have to turn at least THREE times. Sometimes I'll start on the left, sometimes on the right. This turns doesn't take like seconds to do. It takes like 20-30 minutes each turn. If I don't do it, I can't fall asleep, no matter how tired I am. So far only Five times I manage to sleep without doing that. Whenever I turn, I have to do THE PREPARATION and THE PILLOW all over again. I tend to arrange my pillows on how I'm gonna hold them.

So this are some things I do before I truly sleep.

Do you have sleep habits? Not necessary have to be in threes. Just let me know. I want to know.

Have a nice day!!

Random: I didn't know any better

A few years back, I think it was 5-6 years ago, I heard this song "Goodbye for now" by P.O.D and thought the girl singing in the video was awesome, hoping that she was maybe gonna make it big.
Then, few years later I saw a video "Cupid's Chokehold" by Gym Class Heroes and thought that girl looks pretty and wandered who she was.
A year ago I realize that girl was non other than Katy Perry and only today I found out that the girl in the P.O.D video was her too. In her True Hollywood Stories on E!, it is stated that when she was in that Cupid's Chokehold video, people started asking who's that girl and she got more famous. I totally agree.
I love the song Goodbye for now but I can never remember the name of the band, I was young back then all dumb and stuff and wasn't so into the internet yet. I wrote it down somewhere but I lost the paper. So, the other day I saw a music video by the same band different song and that's how I got P.O.D and searched it on youtube and thought that girl looked familiar and saw the comment section and then I realize it was Katy Perry. How dumb was I.
I guess the Internet help me find things. I can see all the things I used to see and loved as a kid.
Anyways, Katy has come a long way. You wouldn't have known that her family is like a total Christian family and she's not allowed to be listening to songs that aren't religious when she was a kid. Gosh! Her face+her bro's face= her sister face. I think the song Fireworks really is an AWESOME song. The people that were in that video were all awesome special kids.

Love ya Katy Perry!!

I think I heard Goodbye For Now many times today. That's how much I loved it.

Random: The "cicak" who died of heat and other stuff

For those who don't know what a cicak is, it's a lizard. You know, the one that stays in your house and what not..

Recently, my mother discovered a cicak stuck on the side of our coffee table. She discovered it when she was lying down on the floor next to our coffee table. I have a feeling that cicak has been there awhile and how did my mother didn't discover it sooner since she's the one always sleeping there.
So our coffee table has a layer of plastic to cover it for protection and we would tape it to the table.
This is hpw the cicak looks like...

The cicak could die under these circumstances...
  1. Our house is so bloody hot that "it" dried up.
  2. "It" was taped on the cellophane tape and has no chance of getting out of a sticky situation.
  3. "It" was taped on the cellophane tape and had no food, no chance in hell of getting freedom and our house is too bloody HOT!!
R.I.P. Mr. Baby Cicak
This reminds me of Bubba Scotland Jones of America's Next Top Model Season 14. May he R.I.P. too...

XD

Have a nice day!!

Random: Pain,pain and more pain

So, I got cut. There was a lot of blood. End of story. Ha!

Ok, fine, I'll tell you...
Last Sunday or was it Monday... I was cutting some onions when I got my first cut on my finger. It was on the ring finger and it wasn't that bad. Just a thin layer of skin came out.
Then just now, I got my second cut. This time it's the middle finger and more severe. I was doing my arts and crafts stuff when I "accidentally" cut myself. I thought it was like a small scratch. Then it started to hurt, then I saw blood. I quickly grab the tissue and cello-taped the tissue(I tend to do that when I bleed). I know I have to wash it but it really hurts. It was like 3mm deep from the tip of my finger. Wanna see? Click here. Now every move I make hurts my finger. I can't type fast now cause the middle finger is the one that helps me type faster. Poo!

Have a nice day!!

Events/Random: Chap Goh Meh

Today is the 15th day of Chinese New Year which means it's the Chap Goh Meh a.k.a Lantern Festival. During the Lantern Festival, children go out at night to temples carrying paper lanterns and solve riddles on the lanterns(I don't do that, I just play). This officially ends the Chinese New Year celebrations.

Apparently only some Chinese people call this day the Lantern Festival but for the other Chinese people called it Chap Goh Meh(people like me). In Malaysia we just call it Chap Goh Meh and we don't play with the lanterns. From what I hear, only China people put lanterns on this day. So in conclusion, I won't be playing lanterns today but I will on the actual day that we Malaysians called Lantern Festival during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Confused? Haha. Apparently there is umm... kinda two Lantern Festival. I don't really know. Haha.

So what my family do on this occasion is that we gather together again like on the Chinese New Year's Eve's day and eat!! However, usually around this time, not every family will be having this dinner because those that are overseas are usually back OVERseas. Haha.

Have a nice day!!

Random: Chinese New Year countdown 2

So it's exactly 5 days to go...
I'll post pictures so you can see what I do during the festive. I promise this time I'll take lots of pictures. One thing I can't show you is my families and relatives face. They are so sensitive about posting their face online. They will hunt me down if I do. XD
Anyways, wishing everyone who reads this a Happy Chinese New Year!
新年快乐!

Have a nice day!!

Random: Little more on what Chinese New Year is

I don't really know much on Chinese traditions because nobody would tell me so here's what I know...

The Chinese New Year is also known as Spring Festival and it is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. The festival starts on the first day of the first month in the Chinese calender and ends with a Lantern Festival which is on the 15th day also known as Chap Goh Meh.
During Chinese New Year's Eve, Chinese families gather together for their annual reunion dinner.

People will pour out their money to buy presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. It is also the tradition that every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any ill-fortune in hopes to make way for good incoming luck. Windows and doors will be decorated with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of "happiness", "wealth", and "longevity"(My family don't spend that much on decoration). On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper is a feast with families. Food will include such items as pigs, ducks, chicken and sweet delicacies(My grandmother always cook her specialties and my favorite foods because I'm her "golden" grandchild, :D). The family will end the night with firecrackers(Love this part, my neighbors go all out on fireworks, so the whole neighborhood is filled with all kinds of fireworks and the next day, everyone's floor is filled with the fireworks' red residue but nobody would clean up because people believe it's "bad" luck if you do, but I think most people are just lazy or busy to clean it up). Early the next morning, children will greet their parents by wishing them a healthy and happy new year, and receive money in red paper envelopes(I don't really greet on the next day, I usually do it before I sleep after the fireworks and I normally get my red packets the previous day during the reunion dinner).
The Chinese New Year tradition is a great way to reconcile; forgetting all grudges, and sincerely wish peace and happiness for everyone(I just wished people because it's my way of saying Hello, Nice to see ya again or Give me ang pow...haha... at least that's just me) Most importantly, the first day of Chinese New Year is a time when families visit the oldest and most senior members of their extended family, usually their parents, grandparents or great-grandparents. Some families may invite a lion dance troupe as a symbolic ritual to usher in the Lunar New Year as well as to evict bad spirits from the premises(My cousins used to participate in the lion dance, but they quit already). Members of the family who are married also give red envelopes containing cash to junior members of the family, mostly children and teenagers(The part I love the most, receiving money! Luckily I'm not married yet or anytime soon). Business managers also give bonuses through red envelopes to employees for good luck and wealth(This doesn't happen for all business managers, only those that believe in the act or they are generous).

If you want to see the celebration and not from countries and territories with significant Chinese populations
, visit your local Chinatown! BTW>This year's Chinese New Year is on February 3rd.
