MLM: Sem 2 is over!!!

At least I hope that's the end of it. I hope that I can pass and move on to the next semester.
So sorry haven't been posting. I was super duper busy and when holiday started, I took time to replace the sleeping time that I have been missing out on the pass three weeks..
So anyways, like I promise, I am now telling you about how semester 2 was for me even though I'm extremely lazy right now which means I'll cut it short.
So for the beginning of Sem 2 was boring as we just started learning about the course we are taking and things are going slow as it's the first time all of us learn whatever it is that we are learning.. Basically the first few week was quite free for us. So free that we went to the mall almost everyday, went to watch movie, went for karaoke, went to the arcade and even went to Malacca. Yes, we even went outstation. Decided and went on the same day.
Few weeks later, assignments starting to pile up. There's a lot of drawings we have to do and since it's our first time doing so, we took awhile to finish it thus dragging datelines. Most of the equipment used to draw stuffs were freaking expensive.
During the last few weeks of Semester 2, most of us overnight at McDonalds almost 3 times a week maybe more. Why you ask? We were rushing assignments. We have two projects each semester and since we're beginners, we took a long time to do the first project thus creating less time for the second project. This is just for one class. We had other assignments for other class too but this one was the major one. Sort of.
Thankful to have lecturers who let us drag datelines. I feel bad though seeing how I'm the only one who ask for delay when it's for everyone's good. Anyways, my lecturer is leaving(and he's the best one of all!!!) T^T
Sem 2 was great although we're like super exhausted and super stress every time. Gain new friends and lose few friends due to the group thingy they did on us. There used to be a group C and D for Interior Designers and now there's a Group A and B which they mixed us up so we're no longer with most of our friends from the previous group. We're still friends with some of them but friendship with the others have been way distant. Anyways, to those going to the next same, all the best, may we not repeat what we did this sem. To those that didn't make it, may you work harder than the previous sem.

To April Intake Interior Designers, Happy Holidays and rest well and prepare for the next sem.
To my fellow readers, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Have a nice day!

MLM: I got shot!

If you're thinking of what I think you're thinking which is getting shot by a gun then you're wrong.
I'm talking about injection.
Let me rewind to last month. So, I went back to my hometown during my Semester break, just two weeks before Hari Raya. A week before that my mother went for a blood test and her results say that she have this sickness that I forgot the name. The doctor say that it is genetic, which means my sister and I can inherit it. So, just so happen that I came back for holiday, my mother ask me go take the blood test. I like and hate taking blood test. I like the fact that I get to see my blood(yes, I know I'm weird). I hate the fact that after the injection they put the plaster on arm and it's super sticky and when you take it out, it hurts like ^$%^#$ because it pulls my skin hairs.. Anyways, I got the results and I don't have what my mother have but the doctor ask me to take the hepatitis injection and I have to take both A and B. I was like What? I have to take two shots, then the doctor say, no la, just once, just combine into one(was relief a lil). I had to take it because doctor say if I study in KL, there is a chance that I get the Hepatitis A or B disease because I eat out all the time. So it's like a safety precaution.
So I have my first jab in Kuching from one of the private clinics around the Timberland area. The doctor so handsome. XD
Anyways, I have to have two more jab. So I have to take it here in KL. I just went for my second jab about two days ago.
I was at the clinic and this lady walk in. Guess who she was..
A freaking celebrity!! One of the Malay actress that I forgot her name... Something something Ahmad. I can't remember.
So, my first jab was at my left shoulder which was weird. My arm hurt the whole day. Someone purposely hit me again..
Then my second jab was at my left arm near my BCG scar which still hurt till this day. My friend went to hit me, twice, can't blame her thought, she didn't know, I only told her after she hit me twice.
My conclusion, inject at the shoulder is less painful than inject at the arm. I couldn't sleep well because of my second jab because I always sleep on my left side so it hurts so badly.
*sigh* I have five months left until my last jab.
So, what's your story? Have you recently get an injection or blood test? Do you have a "pain" story to tell? Share share ya?

Have a nice day!

MLM: I got a job offer!/ Confirmation

It's a part time gig at a 7eleven store...
So here's how I so-called "got" it...
Part 1.
I was at the 7eleven store near the church to get a drink. (I usually go get a drink if I feel that I come early for Youth or Sunday Service). Somehow I just happen to look at the magazine section. Normally I would ignore and just have a quick look at that section but today somehow I decided to "stare" at it a little longer. So, I look, and walking towards the drink area and my head just right a bit and there is was, a Gempak comic book stand. I told myself that I was going to stop buying those comic books for the time being because I spent too much on magazines and comic books for the past few months already. It was also because Gempak hasn't produced stories or anime that interested me or capture my eyes but somehow there is this one particular comic book that caught my eye. Love the character drawings(but it has a lame story/joke).
Part 2.
I decided to buy that book, grab a drink and head to the counter. Just so happen that the lady boss was there(well, at least I think she's the boss). Her employee was at the cashier and he was like, Eh, this girl bought this book le.(at least that's what I think he said, I had my earphones on and he kinda nudged her and she came immediately when I wanted to put my wallet into my bag).
She said some things in Cantonese, I was like no no no(cause that's what I do when people talk to me and I didn't hear what the person is saying and feel to bad to ask what the heck the person is saying).
That kind of method doesn't really work. So I asked what she said. Then she say it in Cantonese again, I was still no no no, method not working again. She looked like she wanted a clearer answer so I finally said that I'm sorry I couldn't understand her in English. She asked me what language is this comic book or what language you study, honestly, I wasn't sure what she asked me cause I had my earphones on. All I know is that she asked me and point at the comic book at the same time. I answered BM, even thought I didn't know what the heck she asked.
Part 3.
Then I finally took of my earphones cause she asked the same question twice and I answered the same answer twice and she look like she wasn't sure of my answer.
So, with no music in the way, I heard it right, she asked me what am I doing in this area and after that, whether I want a job. A part-time job. I told her I can't seeing how I don't live near there and it's not convenient for me to go there. Plus, it's a morning shift. I have class from 9-11am everyday, how can I work? I told her that I don't live nearby so I can't work there.
The lady asked me if I had any friends who stay nearby. I said, I have a few.
So, anyone near Cheras area or near Cheras Pantai Hospital who is interested, please go to the 7eleven store and ask for the job.
It's a morning shift.

I think this thing happen because of God. It was just yesterday when I thought about getting a part-time job seeing how my classes are from 9-11am for four days. A friend suggested it to me before but I didn't want it then. I wanted to get a part-time job before I started college because I want the experience and extra money(so I won't feel bad about buying unnecessary things with my mother's money) but I end up deciding not to get a job because Semester 1's schedule was packed and my weekends are reserved for youth and Sunday Service but then my Semester 2's schedule is so free, sure I may be busy in the future, but I need the experience too, and what better time to do it then in the future when Semester 3 or 4 might be more hectic and busy?
It can't be just so happen that I came early to youth(cause I did estimated my time and still ended up coming early). It can't be just so happen that I have a craving for sweet drinks. It can't be just so happen that I decided to look at that section for so long. It can't be just so happen that I saw something that caught my eye and to buy it. It can't be just so happen that the lady boss was there at that time.
So yeah, things happen for a reason and I think God just gave me the confirmation that I can go get a part-time job. It may not be this one, but there are some vacancies near my area. I didn't pray about this but I thought about it for a long time and it seems like a matter that matters a lot. Sometimes God gave me things that I think about hard or long without me even praying about it. So yeah, Thank you God for the confirmation.
Oh ya, had an awesome time at youth today and I feel like today's message meant something to me(a bit), even thought I wasn't quite paying attention(sorry Susana :DDD).

Have a nice day!

MLM: My experience sitting in the front row

So yeah, today is Monday and yesterday was Sunday. Semester 2 starts today and super excited but I'm not gonna talk about it here, I will post another blog post about it later.
So I came back to KL yesterday. My flight was suppose to be at three something in the afternoon and got cancelled. It was freaking cancelled!!! Then they put all of us(those in that flight) to another flight, which was about 6: 35pm. I reach home at 10pm le... I was so tired that I didn't bother to unpack or shower, I just went to sleep(actually I went online for awhile XD)
Anyways, the dude in-charge at the check in place there go and put me in the freaking front row, some more aisle seat, so I'm the first person people see when they enter.
I thought nobody was going to sit next to me(I want to move to the seat inside) but then last minute a couple came in and sit there, with toddler some more, she is a very cute little girl.
Sitting right in front, you get to see what is going on near the cockpit. Sure, you see lots of people passing by you to go to the toilet but you get to see the air stewards and captain too.
Stuff I learned:
  1. The stewardess will heat the food before take off.
  2. The male steward is gay. I overheard his conversation with the female stewardess when we were taking off. (I know this is irrelevant but haha)
  3. The stewardess use garden glove to take the hot food out instead of oven gloves.
  4. Front row people barely have space to put their bags, thanks to the people in the second row.
  5. The male stewardess actually is a lazy person.
  6. Sitting in the front row at the aisle and on the left side of the plane is dangerous. The stewardess will hit you on the head when she is showing the safety thingy stuff.
  7. Firefly's satay is delicious, but the rice that comes with it sucks.
  8. Oh ya, almost forgot, there is no need to book your seats cause if your flight is cancelled and they put you in another flight, you won't get the seat you want, which means you paid for nothing... I was queuing before boarding and the two aunties behind me where like complaining about not getting the seat they want. I don't like that aunty le, she keeps pushing me forward(I hate when people queue behind you and they push you forward).
So yeah, reach the airport and waited for my luggage. KLIA's conveyer belt is not good for our luggage... Our luggage go through the belt thingy then it drops your bag into the other belt right? There should put a higher wall at the place where the bag falls so that it won't fall of the belt. So many bags fell off the belt le. Luckily mine didn't.
So I took the KLIA express(yes, I know it's expensive, but it's safe). The platform at KL sentral when you get off the train, reminds me of the platform like Harry Potter... XD

Normally I want to sit at the seat near the aisle(cause I want to be the one who gets the bag instead of the people with me) but now I feel like sitting near the window(cause I developed the habit of cam-whoring XD and also flying above the clouds at six something in the evening is awesome, you see the clouds and the sun blend together, what a beautiful sight, I wanted to take a picture of it but got people sit at the window seat, some more with baby, how can I take picture like that?!)

Have experience sitting in front row in an airplane? Or any airplane stories(doesn't matter where you sit) or any front row stories? Share with me.

Have a nice day!

MLM: Just hangin'

So, Tracy, Joan and I went out yesterday.. I'm not gonna say much, I'm just gonna show you pictures...

So nice to be able to drive again XD

We went to Jalan Song first because I wanted to go Friendship Garden seeing how I never walked there before, just passed by a lot.

I high-fived Admiral Zheng He XD

Then we went to One Jaya. Most of the shops are still closed.

Haha, saw this at one of the shops in One Jaya.

Then we had lunch at Pizza Hut. After that, we went to The Spring shopping mall for karaoke session. We drank a little... XD

Hmm... seems like a lot of stores closed down already...
Then after that, we go walk around the mall, did some shopping. I bought a red checkered shirt, a blue shirt, a pink shirt for my friend and a necklace. Oh ya, we went to an art gallery situated in the mall(I'm surprise suddenly the mall have an art gallery).

Just messing around XD

My favorite piece.

I sent them back and went to pick up my mother. We had dinner and went home. The End.

Have a nice day!

MLM/Random: Semester 1 is over!!!

At least I think it is.. Haha.. Just hope that my grades are enough for me to pass Semester 1 and go on to Semester 2.

My crazy classmates! Thanks for an incredible journey! Thanks for baring with me throughout Semester 1.. Sorry if I offended or make you angry... Hope that things would be better in Semester 2... Jia you! Gambateh!

I can't wait to go Semester 2 as there is a class that I can't wait to start...
It's photography baby!! Yes, I love photography. I was suppose to havea post about my passion for photography but I deleted it. I love photography for a long time now but it's only recently(actually since I moved to KL) that I really really love it. Maybe because they are people who like the pictures I took. I can't wait to get my hands on aDSLR and start learning. If you want to hire me to take pictures for you, I'll be happy to... :DDD
Anyways, finally I have time to go back to my hometown. I don't mind just coming back for a week but I mind if my holiday is only a week. I need to catch up on my sleep which I haven't seeing I got on the plane the day after my final presentation(I stayed up for almost 48 hours) and since then I have been waking up early everyday because of my mother. I need sleep!!! I've been falling asleep every chance I get. In the bus, sleep, in the plane, sleep, in the car, sleep, at the restaurant, sleep, visiting my grandmother, sleep, in church, almost sleep XD....
So I've been back for like 3 days already and have been eating quite a lot. I hope I didn't gain weight seeing how it is hard for me to lose weight. Speaking of weights, I lost 10 freaking KG!!! I don't feel it though... but people keep telling me they see me slimmer than the first time they saw me. I've been having lots of stress, walking up and down the stairs, and skipping meals especially breakfast. Yes, I'm living an unhealthy life, stop nagging me, I have enough from my mother, aunties and a friend from church(you know who you are)...XD
Me on the plane XD
Finally get the chance to eat Foochow noodles!!! Yumm!!
I'm meeting up with my friends later and will blog about it later maybe soon hopefully... XD

Have a nice day!

MLM: Just another day in "class"

My usual Wednesday's Fundamental Drawing class changed to Monday, which is today. My lecturer brought us to KLCC so we could draw some sceneries. Woke up at 8:30 am and got ready. Was out before 9.15 am thinking that I will be late. Turns out that I'm one of the earliest to reach there.
I went to buy breakfast and later on met up with my lecturer and friends.
Then our lecturer brought us to the other side of the lake and told us what to draw. Then, all of us went our separate ways to find thespot to draw.
My friend, Paggie and I went to a spot near the lake. I wanted to go there because there have shade and it has a sitting area that acts as a table(you know, like the kind that you see at some stadiums).
Few minutes into drawing trees... a man passed by talking some stuff and he looked at Paggie and said, "You understand?". My friend was like ??? He then walked to the staircase behind us and sat at the top. He was talking and talking. We thought that he was talking on the phone through bluetooth. We later found out that he's not on the phone but he's talking out loud. It was more of complaining out loud. He's a very handsome man, well-dressed in a black t-shirt andwhite shorts(you get the picture, typical man look). He was talking and in between those words is the F words with the -ing in it. He saw some people talking pictures(That spot was the perfect photography spot) and he was like, "You ****-ing people using the ****-ing lense and you ****-ing... " He was like saying ****-ing the whole way. I think this guy got fired because he was saying(sorry, he was complaining) that he had the potential and blah blah blah. Yes, I was eavesdropping but I couldn't really hear him. I didn't want to hear him either because he was cursing the entire way and there was a few ****-ing words in his sentences. He even say that in front of passer-bys. How embarrassing it was for tourist to hear that from him. Furthermore a, HE WAS COOKING THERE!!! After he ate, he left. He look like the kind of man who just lost his job and couldn't take it. From what my friend hear, he might be an architect(he was talking about a bridge). A successful one I may add.
I took some picture from my polaroid camera and saw a cute white boy having the same camera, with the same colour. XD
The picture came out 80% white but I don't mind because it had a very nice effect. We got tired after almost 2 hours of sitting there drawing trees. Paggie and I went to look for the others at another area near the lake. Few minutes later, Paggie, Kai Li and I went to the playground. Took some pictures there too. It was fun relieving the days of our childhood.
After class, we went to have lunch with the rest. We were suppose to go to the art gallery after that but it was closed. Luckily it was close because I already seen those arts painting stuff a month ago(my another lecturer has his art work there and we went to support him during the opening).
After lunch, Paggie and I went to Midvalley to watch Harry Potter. Kai Li was suppose to join us but she couldn't because it is gonna be hard for her to go home.
Paggie left and I'm still at Midvalley, McDonalds(for the internet only), writing this blog post, but I'll probably head home seeing that I'm not feeling well.

Anyways,
Have a nice day and Thanks for reading my blog post.

MLM: Christian Fellowship

I have fun in CF meetings all the time. Since they know I play the guitar, they asked me to play. So, it has been two meetings that I've played the guitar during praise and worship time. I'm glad I can serve.

If you, my reader, are from my school, come for CF meeting. We meet every Wednesday 6pm-7.30pm.. Sometimes we meet at the Av room sometimes we meet at the fashion room(which is next to the AV room). Come join us.

I have to end this short because it's late at night and I still have a lot of work to do... So for now,

Have a nice day!!

Random/MLM: Such a small world

It has been like what? four weeks since school started. School's great. I just dislike where I stay.
So, I've been going to Christian Fellowship since then.
Hold up, I'm here to talk about a person, not what I did. I'll tell you what I did in my next post...
Ok, so there is a girl named Abigail. I first talked to her when I want to find out whether I can get a transport back after the first CF meeting. It was my first time talking to her but it's not my first time seeing her. Shall I explain? Abigail is from KL. She went to National Service last year in Sarawak(I'm from there if you don't know that)and went to my church during her service. That's when I first saw her. SAW, not meet. Fast forward to four weeks ago, it was the day of the meeting and I was suppose to meet up with her before going to the meeting and we were talking and my friend came to the topic. My friend was in the same camp with her during NS and that when I was like "no wander you look SOOO familiar". Oh ya, forgot to add, I went to look for her in Facebook because she was the president and I want to see who she was and thought she look familiar from the picture.
So now I'm friends with her. Small world isn't it. She went to my church last time and now I'm going to her church. I was worried which church to go and she's my answer. I'm grateful to meet her. She's a good friend.
This post is dedicated to you, Abigail. You are like my sister. I'm grateful to have you in my life.

So, you, the readers, know about Abigail, now. Makes it easier to say it in my post instead of me keep saying my friend my friend my friend until you are not sure which is which anymore. I know I don't have much readers nor followers but if you are reading this and you did view my blog, I thank you for doing so and for that,

Have a nice day!!

MLM: Pass three weeks

So the past three weeks I've been busy re-packing, moving, doing my assignments, doing my project, doing my work, going to CFs(if you're wandering what CF is, it's Christian Fellowship), ... err, what did I do again, oh, and living my hectic life in KL although it's just the beginning..
I was going to write something more for this post but I forgot...
Sorry..

Have a nice day!!

MLM: My weekend

Wow! Last weekend was all about traveling/exploring, friendship, GOD, making new friends and going somewhere new-ish.
So, last weekend Abigail brought me to her church's Youth Fellowship thingy and I stayed over at her place. Then went to church the next day. I met so many new friends and during the youth meeting we were playing a game and you have to shout out the other person's name before you get hit. There is this guy named Chris(Abi's cousin) and this is how it went...
Someone: CHRIS!!
Chris: TEEN!!
Me: Chris!!
Chris: TEEN!!
then the guy who was suppose to hit another person was like "there's no one named teen"..(If you knew my name is Kristeen, you would understand)
This went on for awhile.. It was a fun and funny game.
Abi's house reminds me of mine. It's more homey then mine and more big family pictures then mine. So maybe when I'm homesick, maybe I'll run to her house to stay(that is if her parents allow me to).. Thanks Abi!
So that's my weekend. You have to be there to know how fun it was but for now...

Have a nice day!!

MLM: Uh and uh

Ok, so, it's been like what? three weeks already in school, oh wait, it's been a month, really? a month already? oh gosh, the other day blogger was down and i got a whole lot to say but I completely forgot what I wanted to write... =_=" Rachel(my new friend in CF) suggested I should write it down first but i was to lazy to bother, haha.

What's the point of this post again? IDK.

Have a nice day!!

Oh ya, speaking of random, you all should check Ep 3 of Above All That Is Random by Christina Grimmie on youtube... LOVE THAT SONG!!!

MLM: I'm so tired and dark

So since I've move to Kuala Lumpur, I have been walking... Up, down, left, right, around...
So I'm temporary staying at my aunt's place and it's up the hill, it has up, down, and less trees, means no shade.. That's how I got darker, I'm so lazy to take out an umbrella or put on sunscreen... On the plus side, I got a nice tan. :) Give me a year and you will see that I'm smaller.. I don't mind the walking, I just mind the hills...
From the place I stay, I have to walk to the bus station then take the LRT then walk to my school... So every time I reached a destination, I will be covered in sweat.. As like I just taken a shower...
I'll be moving to another place(I can't tell you where) in May because the previous tenant will only move out in May.
Finding a place in KL is SO FREAKING HARD!!!
I might just move again seeing how that room is so small.. See first la... If I can find a better place I would move. If you know anywhere cheap, near the LRT and all female tenants, let me know... Thanks...

Have
a nice day!!

MLM: Update with my life

For those who actually read my blog post, I'm very sorry I haven't been posting any blogs but you know my reasons.. In my previous post I stated that I'm going to Singapore, well, I ain't going anymore. There were some complications and I couldn't go. So guess where I ended up to study in college? Non other than Kuala Lumpur itself. I never really pictured myself studying in KL but yeah, I'm there. I always think that if I go to KL, it would be for vacation or shopping spree... but all well... :(
Just to let ya know, I'm studying Interior Design in PJ CAD. Last week was orientation and this week officially start school. :DDD For this week only, I shall skip 5 classes and next week and so forth will be 4 classes.. Why you ask? Well, I have three theory class, meaning, I don't have to go if I don't want to...I have a class for the Malay language but the lecturer says students dont have to take it if they got credit for Malay language in SPM. I got a B+, so YAY!! I don't have to go. So the 5th class I'll be skipping is my English for Communication class because the lecturer for that class took a sick leave, i think she is going for eye surgery or something to do with the eye.. I don't know, i stopped listening after I heard no class... Poor her(even though I don't know who she is), I hope she gets better soon...
So, if you ever want to come by Kuala Lumpur, let me know, I'll bring you around-ish(sight-seeing, shopping, etc)just give me a few months to explore first :P
If you are from Kuala Lumpur, TAKE ME OUT!!! haha...
I have yet to make plans with my old classmates... We're suppose to go Yum Cha but I don't feel like going out since I haven't really settle down...

Have a nice day!!

MLM: Busy as a bee!

*I have to type this really fast as I have to fetch my friends so we could finally hang out in a few moments time.
Ok, first of, I'm sorry I haven't been bloggin, I have been super busy. I was gonna apply for a school in Kuala Lumpur and they need me to hand in a portfolio of my work. I didn't want to give my best ones so I decided to make new ones. I took me awhile to do it. I spend like weeks on it but I ended up changing my mind about going to that school since I heard that I have a better chance being accepted into the college I love so much in Singapore. So I spend those weeks designing for nothing.
I was also busy looking for all my stuff and deciding what I wanna bring over when I move. I have a lot of stuff so it took awhile.
I was also finishing some projects on my own and helping in MANY other events(I guess you can call it charity since it helps the citizens) and I also flew to two towns in Sarawak that I never been before also for a charity-ish event. I will make a post about it. Someday. Hopefully.
I will be SUPER BUSY this week. Everything is a rush thanks to the government who make the SPM results come out late. (Oh ya, my results!! I got what I wanted!! 3A's! 2B+'s, 2B's, 1C+ and 1C. I can finally go "HA!" on my mother since she didn't believe I could do as well as I did even though I could do much better.) Ok, back to the busy this week part. So, the school I applied for in Singapore is giving me the answer like TOMORROW!!! so I'm sort of freaking out since the orientation is like on the 11th which is just next week. I'm sure I will eventually(it's under a program where you can pick 5 school of your choice with the course you want, so I should be able to get it since my grades are sweet!?) So if I got in which means I have to fly to Singapore like this Thursday so I could go get a computer, get another accomodation other than my cousin's, get a health check-up... the point is get a lot of things done.
So I gotta go, I'll blog some more once I settle down in Singapore(maybe I will blog after I get a new computer).
So BYE!! wish me luck and...

Have a nice day!!

MLM: Walking down the Waterfront road..

Click here to know what's it about...

So Andrea, Joan, Sofena and I went out one Friday afternoon... Rachel couldn't join us because she was busy or something, Audrey is in UK and Angela and Stennia were away in PLKN camp...poor them for not being able to join us.

I met up with Andrea and Sofena at a bank opposite Spring and then drove to Joan's place(Yes mummy, I picked up my friends, without you knowing). Then, we went to the McDonalds around town.
Then we went to walk at Sarawak Plaza, saw a Skull Candy headphone and wanna buy but I end up didn't.
Then we drove to Waterfront and walk again, take pictures and shop at the small stalls there. After that we cross over to the other side to go to the local souvenir shop. I bought some stuff. Took the opportunity to buy some stuff which I can't buy if my mother is around. You can only go places like these with friends. Parents nowadays don't wanna go this type of places. I saw an earring with awesome pattern but I can't wear because I don't wear earrings so I am gonna transform it into part of my artwork. I'll post up what I did with it soon.

DSC05530DSC05531DSC05532
This was so my idea. I found the curly fry but I didn't wanna take the picture.

It was a o_O moment when Joan's sister, Crystal ask me if I was a boy. Just because I dress like one or don't carry a bag doesn't make me a boy. Oh, little kids.

We got lollipops, food, souvenirs, drinks, pictures and fun!

My life me: The day you went away...

It's 12th of February 2011 tomorrow, it means that it has already been 17 years since my father passed away. How time flies... He was buried on Valentine's Day which was also Chap Goh Meh that time.
Gosh! I was about to turn to two years old and he just left...
I don't really know what actually happened. All I know is that a 19 years old girl who just got her license cause my father's death(which is why my mother is so protective of my driving). My father and his friends were heading to church for a meeting. My father is the only one who died.
My mother said I said "Bye" to him before he left the house. The placed he died was just nearby our house. I pass by that place all the time.

Things change when my father died. For example, during the first CNY celebration after my father died, my mother brought my sister and I to go to our neighbor's house for visiting. They gave a sense that we when there for pity, like we money something(they leave that impression). I mean what's wrong with us visiting them. After that year happen, we never when there to visit them. Few years later, I tripped their little boy(who was around my age, we played, and I put a stick through his bike when he was riding and he fell, I never played with him ever again).
A little more on the family: This neighbor of mine, they are so inconsiderate. The family owns like 7 cars(big expensive kind), a van and a boat, they take up the whole neighborhood's parking space and they parked in front of people's house. How on earth people are gonna park their own car? Driving to my house would be like going through a maze. It's so hard to get through.

Anyways, I miss you dad! Love you lots.

Have
a nice day!!

My life me: It's day 6

So it's day 6 of Chinese New Year, which means 8 more days until Chap Goh Meh!!!

I know I promise a lot of pictures, but I didn't have chance to take... I was busy helping my aunty for her "Open House" on the first day, busy serving people coming my house on the second day, busy visiting people on the third day and on the forth day I sent my sister to the airport and stayed at home all day, I was wiped out.

I was BUSY BUSY BUSY BUSY BUSY!!

It was also hard to take picture since it was smoke all over the atmosphere...
Anyways, here are some pics...

This is the flower that my mother took from my aunty's house because she have too many flowers. We do it every year...

This is the Chinese New Year's Eve's dinner... I know it ain't fancy but it's delicious... You see the food in the round container thingy? That's the kind of food we have to eat every year before starting the dinner(It's my grandmother's traditions that I don't get) It has to be eaten accordingly, you can't just simply take anything, it has to be in order... Each food represents something. I can't remember which or what but it goes something like this, you eat this certain stuff and you hoped for long life, then you eat another and hope to have wealth,(you know how Chinese people love wealth, health, longevity and what not) something like that, I wasn't listening to my grandmother's words.

This is one example of the "junk food" you will eat when you visit people... This is taken from my uncle's house.

This is taken on the first day. Some big shot of Sarawak came to my aunty's house. I think it's the TYT, the ministers and some other important people. The police escort is from the TYT though. The other important people of Sarawak don't need protection like he does. It's kinda cool. Finally got a picture of this. Always wanted to many years ago when I first saw it. Couldn't before because I didn't have a camera with me every year until this year I got a camera phone. Haha...

So this is my Chinese New Year, the first few days are when all the action happens, so now I look forward to Chap Goh Meh when I get to play lanterns!! Yay! *I'm so acting like a kid now*

If you celebrated Chinese New Year let me know. If you visited someone during the festival let me know. If you visited Chinatown during the festival let me know. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU DO!!!

Have a nice day!!

My life me: It's somewhat scary

It was Friday yesterday and my mum and I were heading to a "talk" at MBKS Auditorium organised by the Kuching Autism Association about something about realizing your full potential with fun and laughter(or something like that, can't remember the title)
My mum bought the tickets from a good family friend who was a member of the association, but she didn't even know what it's about. All we know it's suppose to be funny.
So before we went to the place, my mum and I went somewhere to have dinner. We decided to go Kenyalang Park to eat dinner because my mum had to send some Chinese New Year goodies to one of the doctor(my mum is the "postman" for my aunty). Kenyalang was near there and I wanted to buy something from there. Kenyalang is the best place to get like cloths, buttons and other crafty things related to cloth and you also can get sweets and other Chinese New Year things. So we when there to have dinner. I rarely go to Kenyalang let alone eat there. So far I've drink there once and last night I ate there. I think that will be my first and last time.
So here the story goes, my mum and I were having dinner and we sat near a table filled with 3 guys who smoked and played with the local stray dogs there. I think the dogs there are very close with the people there(those that always eat at the coffee shop). Suddenly this guy walk pass(I think he's one of the lunatics that roam around Kuching town), and those 3 dudes started making the dos go after that guy, like to mess with him, knowing the dogs don't like him. So this crazy dude use his so lame "kungfu" moves to "protect" him from the dogs. The dogs went crazy and started barking super loud running here and there and the 3 dudes laugh laugh laugh.
It was scary to eat there. Well, I don't like wild dogs barking crazily and you shouldn't mess with angry dogs. And I started most people started eating faster and started leaving like they were scared too. So my mum and I couldn't enjoy our dinner and had to leave. So we were hungry throughout the "talk".
So I will never eat at Kenyalang Park every again.
That's the story.

Have a nice day!!

My life me: Clearance time!

Since, my high school days are over, my real journey shall begin...
Taking the "next" step in life...

But first!
I have to clear my stuffs and junks and whatsoever...
5 years of "collecting" Lol
So I have...

  • 2 years of exam papers (I already recycled the papers from the first three years)
  • sketch books
  • other papers
  • comic books
  • craft papers
  • small pieces of paper from previous craft works
  • files of other school related papers
  • crafty cups
  • plastic bags
  • paper bags
  • boxes
  • stacks of song chords stuff
  • stacks of pictures
  • reference books
  • exercise books
I thought it would just take me few hours but I was EXTREMELY wrong...
It's day 2 and I'm not done yet?!
I've shredded some papers already because they have private information, designs I hate and stuff...
Hopefully I have time to finish it by tonight because my mother and I are visiting the recycling center on Saturday which is TOMORROW!!(actually my mum decided to change the date for the visit to the center on the day we're suppose to go because she's tired and she haven't done her part of "collecting")
I'm into recycling, well, 99.9% of the time... hehe o_O

So my shelf now is half empty but my living room is full of boxes and files and other craps...
My sister can have her room back :P
(Since my sister is overseas, I changed her room into my study room, ironically-is there such word as "ironically"?, I never use that room to study, I just use that room to put my stuff and sometimes sleep-"fake studying" lol)

Have a great day!
